Autism Rights Briefing Paper, published April 2007 – `Incompetent, Abusive, or both? - Scottish Executive policy and legislation on Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)`

is a detailed account of the various legislative and policy changes that have been introduced over the past few years by the Scottish Executive. Autism Rights believes that the cumulative impact of this legislation and policy will negatively impact on the human rights of people with ASD and their families. We do not believe that the Executive are unaware of this, nor do we believe that you should be unaware of these changes, which is why we have posted them onto this website.

The main text is here and the Topic References are further information, should you require more convincing of the highly damaging nature of Scottish Executive policy towards people with ASD and their families.
